Diamond Roller Chain is a premium-quality power transmission chain known for exceptional durability, strength, and smooth operation. First introduced in the United States in 1890, Diamond has become a trusted industrial standard for precision roller chains. Engineered using high-grade steel, advanced heat treatment, and tight manufacturing tolerances, Diamond chains ensure long service life, high fatigue resistance, and reduced stretch. They are widely used in conveyors, agricultural equipment, packaging machinery, automotive systems, and heavy-duty industrial applications. With consistent performance under demanding conditions, Diamond Roller Chain provides reliable power transmission, minimal maintenance, and enhanced operational efficiency, making it a preferred choice worldwide.

A ball screw actuator is a linear motion device that converts rotary motion into precise linear motion using a ball screw mechanism. Instead of relying on sliding friction (like in lead screws), it uses recirculating ball bearings between the screw and the nut, which reduces friction, increases efficiency, and provides high positioning accuracy.
They are widely used in automation, robotics, CNC machinery, and precision equipment.
ConstructionBall Screw Shaft – A threaded shaft with a helical groove.
Ball Nut – Contains recirculating ball bearings that run inside the screw groove.
Recirculating Balls – Reduce friction and wear while transmitting load.
Housing/Actuator Body – Holds and guides the nut and screw.
Motor Coupling – Connected to servo or stepper motors for rotary input.
End Supports – Bearing supports for the screw shaft.
When the screw shaft rotates (driven by a motor), the balls roll between the screw and nut, converting rotary motion into smooth linear movement.
Because the balls roll instead of slide, efficiency is very high (up to 90%).
Depending on the design, either the screw moves and the nut is fixed, or the nut moves and the screw is fixed.
High precision & repeatability (micron-level positioning).
High efficiency (much lower friction compared to lead screws).
High load capacity due to multiple rolling balls sharing the load.
Long service life when properly lubricated.
Low backlash (especially with preloaded ball nuts).
Rotating Screw Type – Screw rotates, nut moves linearly.
Rotating Nut Type – Nut rotates around fixed screw, moving the actuator.
Single vs. Double Nut Actuators – Double nut allows preload for zero backlash.
Precision Ball Screws – For CNC machines and robotics.
Industrial Duty Ball Screws – For heavy loads in presses and material handling.
CNC machines (lathes, milling, drilling)
Robotics & automation systems
Medical equipment (MRI tables, surgical robots)
Aerospace actuators
Packaging and assembly machines
Industrial presses and injection molding machines
Very high accuracy (ideal for precision positioning).
High efficiency → lower power consumption.
Can handle heavy loads smoothly.
Reduced wear → longer service life.
Quiet and smooth operation compared to hydraulic systems.
More expensive than lead screws.
Sensitive to dust/dirt → needs proper sealing.
Requires lubrication for long life.
Backlash may occur if not preloaded.
